The Riversharks seek an individual who will be responsible for game-day creative services preparation and execution. This includes preparing all slides, videos, and graphics for the video board, as well as operating the video board during games. The candidate will also assist in the development of pre-produced video production for both in-game and promotional use.
The candidate can gain experience in writing, shooting, and editing short videos and graphics for use in games and on the Riversharks website.
The ideal candidate must have experience in video production/editing, live feed, audio production, and graphic design. The ideal candidate must also own their own laptop with video editing and graphic design capabilities. The ability to complete projects independently and creativity are extremely important for this position, as well as the ability to complete quality projects within deadlines.
This is a full-time internship, paid a stipend, through the end of September 2012. Availability for evening and weekend games and events in excess of normal working hours is expected.

*This is an entry-level, full-time, paid Group Sales Internship which runs from February, 2012 until September 2012. Highest performing candidates may be granted interviews for permanent F/T positions within the company as they are available.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Agressively and independently prospect and develop new sales business
• Make cold calls from provided lists to area companies to sell partial-plan ticket packages
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals in the areas of season, group and partial-plan ticket packages
• Maintain computerized records
• Provide superior customer service to clients - existing ticket holders, prospects, and single game customers
• Sell other special projects as assigned

The summer internship program with the Camden Riversharks is one of the most exceptional and beneficial internships in the sports industry. It provides an opportunity to learn about many facets of the professional sports world through hands on experience. In addition to learning about the media side of the team, Camden Riversharks interns will have the opportunity to gain experience with the events and business side of the operation as well. By working home games during the season, interns will interact with fans and apply what they have learned to actual game day situations. The internship will include:

· Camera Operating
· Operating Game Day Video Room Equipment
· On Camera Host for Riversharks Videos
The main responsibility is to put on a great show and keep our fans entertained! This is done through the videos, music, and slides we create and prepare for game days. We can also help promote the Riversharks by creating videos for the website to help fans see what we’re all about. The On-Field PA Announcer will be highly involved in this process by keeping a positive and enthusiastic attitude while running On-Field promotions during games days. The positions also requires being comfortable speaking in front of a camera for promotional videos created by the Riversharks.

At the Riversharks, no one is above pulling tarp on a rainy day – everyone from volunteers to the General Manager helps to get the job done.
SCHEDULING

PA Announcers must have availability for scheduled day games during the season, plus night game availability, and for office hours at least one day a week.

Assisting the box office, taking tickets, ushering guests, fulfilling sponsorships, and maintaining the field are just a few of the tasks that interns will assist with on game days. At the Riversharks, no one is above pulling tarp on a rainy day – everyone from volunteers to the General Manager helps to get the job done.

On non game days, interns will report to the stadium at 10am and will assist any and all of the team’s departments until 4pm. Non game days may also require travel as well.

The Camden Riversharks of the Independent Atlantic League are looking for an assistant grounds crew member for the 2012 season.
This person will be actively involved in all aspects of maintaining a professional baseball field. These duties include: repairing mounds/home plate, infield clay management, dragging, mowing, irrigation, tarping, chalking, as well as supervising outside activities on the field such as concerts, camps, and clinics.
